The National Assembly Library (Director Hyun Jin-kwon) signed a comprehensive business agreement (MOU) with the Daejeon Museum of Art (Director Seung-Hye Seon) on February 5 (Friday) to share knowledge and information and develop culture and arts.
The two organizations plan to cooperate in various fields to revitalize cultural sharing, such as exhibitions of future-oriented science and arts, and thus, jointly utilize art-related contents, facilities, and information to promote art and culture exchange.
As a collaborative project between the two organizations, we plan to plan “21st Century Korean Art + Future (tentative name)” to restore’humanity’ through art and view the’Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow’ of Korean culture. To this end, we are planning an exhibition of video media works in the Daejeon Museum of Art, Korean paintings in the National Assembly Library, and exhibitions of works by young artists with themes of artificial intelligence (AI) and art.
“Through this agreement, users who visit the National Assembly Library will be able to establish a cooperative system for mutual use and development of cutting-edge science and technology and art resources and apply them to the National Assembly Library, I will try my best to enjoy more diverse arts.”
