Blockchain technology company Blocko (CEO Won-beom Kim) announced that it has signed an MOU with the Argo Foundation and the Korea Broadcasting Association to build a blockchain-based viewer participation service’Pikkle’.
Pickle is a blockchain-based voting and attendance check service that provides transparent and reliable results by storing key data generated during the voting process in the blockchain. Users can participate in voting by simply scanning a QR code through the Pickle app, and all results can be checked transparently. In addition, when entering various cultural events and festivals, you will be able to confirm your identity through Pickle instead of tickets.
Blocko CEO Won-beom Kim said, “Pikkle will be officially released in July, and in cooperation with the Korean Broadcasting Association, we will increase the credibility of various viewer participation ecosystems, including voting and participation in events within broadcasting programs based on Argo “We start with voting right now, but we are preparing various blockchain services such as NFT (irreplaceable token) and content STO (securities-type token).”
