Lambda 256 attracts additional investment of 10 billion won…

[Digital Today Reporter Hwang Chi-gyu] Lambda 256, which operates a blockchain service platform (BaaS: Blockchain-as-a-Service) Luniverse, announced on the 15th that it has attracted an additional investment of 10 billion won.

Lambda 256 explained that after attracting 7 billion won in investment in June 2020, it received an additional 10 billion won in last January and completed the Series A investment round with a total of 17 billion won.

Lambda 256 is expected to be used for overseas expansion, manpower acquisition, and additional service development with the investment secured from Series A investment. It is a strategy to accelerate entry into the blockchain market in Southeast Asia, including Indonesia and Thailand, starting with Singapore within this year.

It is also continuously recruiting to advance the Looneybus BaaS platform. As interest in cryptocurrency transaction services in the recent market increases, blockchain-based fintech services that can support e-commerce companies and virtual asset businesses in the financial sector will also be introduced.

Lambda 256 was founded in March 2019 by spin-off from Dunamu. Luniverse provides a cloud-based blockchain service platform that enables companies to adopt and operate blockchain relatively easily.

Last year, it launched the commercialization of Looneyverse, the development of a Decentralized ID (DID) service, and a point mileage integration service. The company explained that about 1600 customers are currently using Luniverse.
